My Nominations For The 2020 Book Blogger Awards!

Welcometo the Fourth Annual Book Blogger Awards! May the odds be ever in your favor!

This is the first time I’m ever participating in these awards which are hosted by the very lovely May @ Forever and Everly and the equally amazing Marie @ Drizzle and Hurricane Books. Thank you so much to both of them to for hosting this!

I’m incredibly excited to post this because not only have I been nominated (multiple times!! it means so much to me!!) and want to spread the love even further, but because this is a perfect chance to write a little bit about all of my favorite book bloggers.

For the rules and categories, check out the posts from May and Marie that I linked above!

★ Best Pre-Teen / Teen Book Blogger (13-19) ★

This is a really hard prompt for me because so many book bloggers fall into this category! But if I had to pick, I’m going with Caitlin @ Caitlin Althea because all of her posts are so thoughtfully written. Plus, she never gives up an opportunity to support her fellow bloggers! I normally don’t interact with Caitlyn’s blog- that’s something I tend to do when the bloggers have a really large following and I don’t want to disturb them- but whenever her posts are published, I adore reading them. Happy Birthday To My Amazing Friend El! (and a very merry christmas 🎄)

Hello, everyone!

I’M SO EXCITED. As I type this post, I was just talking to my dear friend Elwho’s BIRTHDAY IS COMING UP! For privacy reasons, I’m not saying exactly which day her birthday is on, but it’s closeby to today! And since Christmas is right by, I decided to combine it.

First of all, what??

Is this a post dedicated to a person?!?!

YES, IT IS. El is my bestie blogging friend (sometimes we are absolutely stupid but I also love her and the love is a little bit more, y’know) so it’s kind of inevitable that I’m posting for her birthday. Since it would be really weird if I just randomly rambled on and on, I’m going to actually write a letter to her, online! I wish I could ship her a present, but 😂 that won’t really work out haha.

RE-BLOGGED: Enter The Village… (TDV blog tour!)

Hey lovely!
I haven’t been very active here on OiaM recently because of life-stuff, HOLIDAYS, and… our very own TDV! So this is actually my other tour stop on The Diamond Village Blog Tour. This is the last post of the tour, so I heartily thank everyone who participated in the tour and everyone who engaged and commented and liked their posts! But most of all, I’d like to thank my fellow bloggers: El, Mukta, Ju, Ash, and Emma! You’ve survived my constant heckling for aesthetics, Ash, and the random demands you had to withstand (Ju- whoops!), gazillions of calls (El… you would get it 😭) the countless designs I asked for (apologies, Mukta!) and some very nasty WP malfunctions (Emma XD). BUT YOU STUCK THROUGH. I THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH.

TDV Blog schedule
Anyways, this is getting too long because today, my tour stop will be actually RE-BLOGGING the TDV’s first post! So read on to meet some of our first villagers! >>>

The Diamond Village

ft

Hello, friend, and welcome to The Diamond Village!

We’re thrilled and honored to have you here with us today on our launch. This is our first official post on this blog and we hope that you stick around with us for a long while!

First of all, I’m Aditi, the blogger who is writing this post! You can find out more about me and the other wonderful bloggers on our about page. To summarize, I’m the crazy girl who decided to found this blog (I’ve not regretted it at all!) and the person you’ll be seeing monthly whenever we have an important development in the Village storyline.

You’ve probably come here from one of our blogs or from the blog tour (We thank everyone who participated/ is participating in the blog tour from the bottom of our hearts- it means so much to us!) and on your way to…

The Diamond Village Blog Tour // TWO character reveals + schedule!

Hello, loves!

As you might have noticed, this post will be part of the blog tour introducing The Diamond Villagea new collaboration blog that I ‘created’ (more like ‘thought about it one fine day and decided it MUST become something’) with the help of five other amazing bloggers- El (bestie, luv you ❤ (and your accent)), Ash (I GUESSED IT RIGHT HAHA *y’all muggles won’t know what we’re talking about*), Emma (After was a complete mess! I’m glad we could suffer through it together hehe), Ju (omg who is this wonderous photographer?? a pigeon? a robin? a DODO?), and, of course, the one and only Mukta (kween of design, utter KWEEN- you are literally a goddess with art).

As you might have noticed from my ramblings, these bloggers are PRECIOUS and the funniest and coolest and most sincere group I could have worked with *cries happy tears*.

But enough about that- you’re all wondering, what the heck is The Diamond Village? Well, fear not, my friends- I have a simple description taken directly from our home page:

The Diamond Village is a fantasy-themed blog with a storyline and interactive, adorable characters who strive to put a smile on your face whenever we can! Our storyline shows how our characters progress through their lives in the bright Village, the challenges they face, but, most importantly, how they overcome them with kindness and intelligence.

Before you check out our latest posts, here’s what you should know: our Village Leader, Mara, posts our storyline-related content once a month so don’t be too worried about not understanding what’s going on. She’ll re-cap what happened previously so you’re not too confused. The rest of the content will be from our other Villagers and about all your favorite topics- books, nature, arts & crafts, news, representation- and with our same cozy and inclusive atmosphere.

So join us on this whirlwind ride of fun and kindness, magic and mayhem, will you? Go check out our posts and don’t forget to follow the blog so you won’t miss any!

blogiversary|your assumptions about me |huge announcement!!

HEY, lovely!

Guess what? Today is my one year blogiversary, which means that One in a Million has officially existed for one whole year. That’s 365 days, btw.

HOLY MOLY I can’t believe it! This has been such a dramatic, exhausting, completely exhilarating ride for me and for you and…
I’ve loved every moment of it.

Before we get on to the post, I’d like to thank you, my friend, for joining me on this ride, whether you’ve been here from the days when I never posted at all- good times, good times- or just clicked the follow button yesterday night.

But now, I don’t think anyone wants me to write a whole post thanking my friends and the people who have made this blog special (unless you do?? WELL I suppose your name must be El) especially since… I’ve already done it. Twice. So I have some ACTUAL content here which is mostly just instructions for you ahaha and let’s just hope I don’t bore you to death.
ahahah also, shameless plug, but if you want to know a HUGE HUGE HUGE announcement, keep reading ’til the bottom! And don’t you DARE skip down, I SEE YOU SCROLLING!!
