Which Characters Am I? | identity crisis book tag

Hey, folks!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted and I’m really sorry about that- I also miss the blogosphere so much and will try to be more consistent with posting! Meanwhile, I’ve been prepping for a music performance that I recorded and sent (finally after so much stress), and school starts in two days which I’m super sad about!

But yes, I am not dead. Thankfully. With COVID-19 going around, who even knows unless I tell you 😭

I’m also really scared that I won’t have time to post much more because I’m entering the busy high school years which would be super sad 😦 so I’m going to try and post as much as I can in the first few months!

However, I’ve also been in a terrible reading/blogging slump. I read a grand total of… wait for it… zero books in July. (wonderful, I know!) And I haven’t known what to post at all, which is why I procrastinated so much on writing a post.

Anyways, since we’re writing this post which actually sounds like a lot of fun, I need to credit the lovely Kerys @ The Everlasting Library for this amazing idea (and the identity crisis book tag!). Her post is amazing, check it out! I used some different quizzes but the idea is similar!

Okay, on to the post!

WHICH RED QUEEN CHARACTER AM I?

WHO I AM: Mare

Where would we be without the Lightning Girl?! You hold tight to your principles and are always willing to sacrifice yourself to protect others. But your impulsiveness can sometimes get in your own way. Make sure you give yourself a break every once in a while!

I literally cannot remember much about the series other than that Maven was interesting and Cal was the goody-two-shoes brother I think? And Mare was okay? But I think I’m fine with getting the main character to a huge series franchise 😉

WHICH THRONE OF GLASS CHARACTERS AM I?

WHO I AM: Yrene and Elide

People may not give you enough credit upon meeting you, but you are brave beyond compare. You are intelligent and persevere through the toughest of circumstances. No one should underestimate you.

I love Yrene and Elide so this is totally fine by me! And I do think that the combination of the two characters is pretty accurate. Honestly, I love all of the ToG characters (but I don’t talk about the book much because they’re quite problematic).

WHICH HUNGER GAMES CHARACTER AM I?

WHO I AM: Katniss Everdeen

Life is tough, but so are you. You have the heart of a champion, and you never give up. You think quickly, and you’re a survivor. Plus, there’s just something about you that commands respect and makes people follow you even if you don’t want them to! You are all about going against the odds.

I like Katniss! She’s got spunk 🙂 so I don’t mind getting her at all. I haven’t read the books in a while but they’re definitely popular for a reason. The latest book is a little slow and I don’t like Snow but the original trilogy is good!

WHICH HARRY POTTER CHARACTER AM I?

WHO I AM: Neville Longbottom

You’re awkward and clumsy and hate being the center of attention. But you’re brave and big-hearted and people can always trust you to help them out in a bad situation.

I LOVE Neville! But… I’m definitely not like Neville? Neville is such a sweetheart who deserves the world but I definitely thought I’d be getting Ginny. I’m such a Ginny. But it’s probably because lots of the questions were about TV shows and movies that I’ve never watched, so I just had to pick a random one.

Also, just to be clear, I do not support JKR in any way! I’m just taking this test for the sake of the blog post 🙂

WHICH RAVEN CYCLE CHARACTER AM I?

WHO I AM: Richard Gansey III

Ah, Gansey. You really know how to get people together and you probably have no idea how important that skill is. You’re likely invested in one particular subject or task, or you have a great interest in finding what someone might call “the meaning of your life”. Like Gansey, you’re a natural mediator. You have an almost supernatural trait which allows you to easily communicate with different kinds of people. A trait that makes you very likable amongst your peers and surroundings. Though, be careful not to hide your feelings under all that politeness. People are not made of plastic.

Gansey!! I LOVE THIS BOY SO MUCH. I’m so glad I got him! He’s definitely my absolute favorite character in the series and I am so much like him. I would say I’m a mix of him and Blue but just Gansey works fine too 🙂

Just like Gansey, I am definitely a people person but am also bookish!! We need more rep in books- we exist! And I do have a great interest in finding out what I’m supposed to be doing, and what my place in this world. I also am really passionate about working to help as many people as I can and I think that if Gansey hadn’t been obsessed with Glendower he definitely would have been like this too.

WHO I AM: Kaz????

Ummm… nope. I’m definitely not Kaz. 😭 Kaz grew on me in CK and I like his character, but I’m definitely not like him. Kerys got the same thing and she’s also definitely not a Kaz, so I have no idea what’s going on. Maybe it’s rigged?

WHICH PERCY JACKSON CHARACTER AM I?

WHO I AM: Leo Valdez

Leo is a 15-year-old son of Hephaestus. He has the ability to create and manipulate fire, a skill that no son of Hephaestus has had in 400 years. He’s an excellent mechanic and is always inventing something new. He is very sarcastic and funny and loves bad puns. His fatal flaw is his feeling of inferiority. He is dating Calypso, a daughter of Atlas, whom he rescued from the island of Ogygia.

Firstly: the blurb that comes is kind of useless because OBVIOUSLY, I know who Leo is?

Anyways. Although I love Leo, I think I’m more of a Piper? Yeah, I’m definitely a Piper. I don’t mind getting Leo, though! He’s one of my favorite characters (lmao they’re all my favorites). I do think I relate to the sarcastic, funny, and bad puns thing though 🥴✌🏽

Once again I’ve proven myself incapable of writing a post under 1000 words!! At least I haven’t lost my touch of blogging, I guess??

This was actually really fun to do and if I can find other quizzes I might do a part two! I’m definitely going to try and be more consistent with posting! Please drop some post ideas in the comments, I literally can’t think of anything, and I haven’t read anything either 😭.
